Since SNAFU is a red wine, California made, perhaps we should have a couple of discussions on red wine. What makes wine red? Why does it taste so different than white? Why do some people only drink red wine (or only white wine for that matter)? Can’t we have a non-discriminating wine drinking public?
I like to think of wine drinking as non discriminating. I’ll drink white, red, sparkling, fortified, whatever. When I’m at a cocktail party and people say to me that they don’t drink white wine, I always look at them and wonder why? Why would you cut yourself short on half of the world of wine. For me it is all about exploration and trying something new. Do I have my favorites, of course. Like rose in the summer with a grilled gruyere sandwich. Or a beautiful big cabernet with a cowboy steak hot off the grill. I say, “drink it all.” There’s only one life to live.
I found your blog via Google while searching for red wine and your post regarding e post at SNAFU looks very interesting to me. I have seen many sites before and most of them do not look this good. I cannot wait to let my friends know about this site. Thanks for the excellent content.
