I'll drink white, red, sparkling, fortified, whatever. When I'm at a cocktail party and people say to me that they don't drink white wine, I always look at them and wonder why? Why would you cut yourself short on half of the world of wine. For me it is all about exploration and trying something new. Do I have my favorites, of course. Like rose in the summer with a grilled gruyere sandwich. Or a beautiful big cabernet with a cowboy steak hot off the grill. I say, "drink it all." There's only one life to live.
